so sacred is that morning light- and what i do with it is truly my choice-



i once was asked quite nicely to 'unlearn' everything i learned at the shrink- all that assertive stuff-
mmm
i looked at his face and kind of laughed-
but it is true-
it has n0t helped more than meditation-or praying=
story telling by native american standards is re-telling of a similar story
using variables- from the present time to convey a message
embelishing
what was already there=

fondling paint brushes- it is raining- and while sleeping i feel like a warrior of the light and of the good story-
-------------------------------------we make exceptions to our rules for people we love- and we tell stories to the ones that are shell shocked from too much exposure to darkness and light- fractured by what once seemed quite whole- the beauty of life seems to be standing just outside the perfect place-waiting-
here in the sacred universe- the healing and the love is not denied to anyone, and sometimes- that love from the spiritual side - kind of creeps up and even scares the daylights out of you- or the premonition that something BIG is about to happen- and pins and needles all over- like a 'take -off' in an plane- that feeling like - i am so loved= may even come along- and then- perhaps that human element will say in a friendly voice' you are extra speacil- you can do this thing'
and maybe some of the humans get carried away with themselves- but SPIIRT-IS IN CONTROL- and well- humility will prevail- and then if you are lucky- welcoming this new perspective- knowingly accepting that in fact- we all have unique fingerprints-
that no two are alike-==it would seem - that - many people think- that you graduate to a 'higher level' of spirituality- but REALLY- YOU DONT GRADUATE- - and no one is more important than the other- each of us having an intrinsic value- and having a sense of humor helps a great deal- now dont it?
some part of all humans seems to be like 'if i can corner this power i could really be awesome' NOPE
will not be ok- see- the sacred- likes to play 'hide and seek' and you can 'peek a boo' all ya want- sing extra songs- smoke plenty canupa- but for real- the deal is- be thankful- 'every breathe is a gift'
i will always be amazed at the sacred- the beauty- the healing- watching the color come back into someones eyes after they stayed in the darkness too long- with that one lil spark of life left in the soul- they want to heal- that is the mercy of the sacred-
someone said to me once' jana one day you will see that if you knew you were going to die you would pay anything to stay alive'
i think i have been pretty dead a few times to be gifted a new reprieve- many times-in fact-i am pretty happy for a fat woman in the rain- eyeing the vegetable garden for lunch- the fact that my hands did some of that work- is amazing-

------------------------ i have been fighting the unhealthy for a while now-=i wake up knowing i have been in a fistfight in what i consider - the other world-== i do not know how it happens that i wake up tired- i have 50,000 units of vitamin d surging thru my body- and i smoked a bit of tobacco- i have to build a fire in this stove and consult with the spirits- all that vitamin b12- seems wasted- like aflight plan- i have not been seatbelted in- or quite ready for the flight- but i always have an over night bag packed
