a feeling

Post by mtmynd » November 2nd, 2020, 7:37 am

I felt as if I were reading a poem that I had discovered in a long forgotten book in a small private library in a house along the northwest coastline (perhaps Oregon or Washington)...there's a fog rolling in, a gentle cooling rain had just fallen a half an hour ago, and there is a haunting silence that nourishes oneself - a re-connection to the five senses that stimulates the creative instinct...the longing for another to share what I have just read...but I must project that to my loved one three nights away.

ahh...such is emotion...sweet, sweet emotion

Sweet
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Nice. I've been to such a room-- a library in the woods overlooking a beach on Orcas Island... No fog or rain though. Not that day ...
