time is ain't then
my get up and go may have got up and gone
but I am happy I got to see
Woody's America
from sea to sea

don't bury me on the lone prarie
don't carry me back to old virginny
just slide me down Mt Shasta and let me float down and out to sea on a river of music
We Are Free

stop here because I been
practicing being bored
so I been sleeping a lot
my depression is deep
but I still can jam
8)

woke up twice this morning
once at three am and again at eight

I finished my second breakfast
bagel and lox
after the first
fried matzos
soul food for me
it was ten o'clock and I wasn't having no fun
so I smoked and turned on the puter
tuned it to you tube yale dot edu
school of divinity
the book of Daniel and the story of Ruth
imagined I was back up on Siskiyou
again
thank's for the doodle

home is where the heart is
my heart is a wheel
rolling free across America

got the eyewitness blues again
I imagine Bukowski reading the news
about the record high bonuses on wall street
oh I would love to hear that
how come you never hear any good poetry on the news.
Where is Bullwinkle and the Poets corner when I need him

why do I watch the news
because like all Jews
I was chosen to suffer :D

I think I must be cracking up
weirdest dream last night
a loud voice calling out to me
asking me
about insanity
and was I sane or not
my dreaming mind like a crystal saw the light refracted into the spectrum of visible light
and I woke up to the darkness

tailor made woman on the TV
well groomed dressed to the nines
a couple of thousand dollars of clothes on her back
nothing wrong with that
I love to see a well dressed woman
but even so I wondered if she knew what she was saying about how the huge bonuses were a good thing for all americans cause those brokers were going to spend a lot of money and the economy depended on it, for example she mentioned one guy who was going to spend about a half a million bucks redecorating his home, and all kinds of artists and craftsman were going to make good bucks, and then they would spend them and so on...and I wondered about the guy in a Bukowski poem who was homeless because of the mortgage fraud on wall street and wondered if he might get warm pair of socks out of the deal

ramble
oh I got go
dance
rode my bike yesterday first time in months
muscles sore but feel a good kind of beat today

hope I do it again today
going to be in the seventies with rain
I could maybe get a break

get ajam
a jam
jam

I need a bike
Jam on wheels
Jam in the bar
Jam at the bar
The writing good
Conscious callings
Bob had a conscience party....partay...partay....
Jam free
Jam let it be
The too familiar starts to sound strange
Driving home in the rain I slept
Half conscious
Drizzly cold piss ass rainy day
Left at one pm.
Got it done...topped out in the bag.....
I heard that fat lady sing
A continual ball of confusion job
Where only acceptance is the key
And a smile....."have a nice day!"
Gets u thru it
Rain seems to be the season
Dinero the reason
Jam is breezin' along......perpetual!!!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

the late
the early
the 50/50's
the woman on my couch
just woke up & said
"he ate the pie he made"
then she went right back to sleep
the jam can get strange-dayed
as a carnival on
the back streets

keep the shinny side up
catch ya on the flip flop
trashy truckers and dime store Jews

jam is rolling free
it's lightning rod's chapeaux
or Zlatko's comixs

the young and the old
their father's hell
break on through to the doors

beats me amigos
like a band of brothers
like a road feeling

thinking about Bukowski's wife with her wry smile cause men mostly give me the blues
what did he call it
"a disease called man"

don't mind me
I got the subterranean
self loathing blues

moving is the next best thing to being free
I guess that's why I love this spontaneous jam
got a backbeat I cant lo...

Kept my ass
In the studio
Played the old man card
At work
Got it and I'm a gonna use it!
That said, this b bout jam
Mind blank
In a booth
Everybody, faces buried
in mobile devices
Me writing the day on iPad
Laptop a memory
iPhone rules the day
Me still w/a flip phone
Scared of too much access
I remember when we 1st started jammin
Laptop was big, hard to jam on the run
Now, well hell u know
How'd we ever live before the cyber age?
Can't fight it
Surrender
Feelings sender
Born to be a jammer
& a wireman....

It's like on to the next thing
I guess
In fact I don't wanna know

Slipping into darkness
By WAR
Spill the wine too
Back in a canned heat mood
On my back writing
Resting for that wake up call

I got this album in storage

for baby driver
one man gathers what another spills
death come to the living only -
because only the living can
have it

only the living
yeah shit like that you write
it's pure poetry 8)

I think about it a lot
especially when I look at my feet
and see that DOA tag on my big toe

I think of Lew Welch and his $2000 estate
I think of a ring of bone
ring of bone
Lew I hardly knew ya

Money and art
that blows my mind
I am glad you guys are not so ambitious

I wish I could be more compassionate to people that bored St. Jack

bottom line St Jack
he could wright pure prose
he knew the rules
and I don't know jack shit
and don't have the patience
so I just try to do the best
with my p's and q's and eyes and tea's dots and crosses
take me a hundred years to go back over my thousands of posts on studio eight and correct all thecrap I wrote.

I once tried to delete every post I made to studio eight, it really pissed my old friend jimboloco off. I was trying to delete myself from studio eight after a couple of real bad ass studio eighters got into a pissing contest and started making what seemed like death threats to each other, just poetic license I guess, but I felt like I wanted to cry cause they gave me the "late John Garfield Blues"

page 2.
exquisite morning
up at four am
now six am
sixty-one degrees
two hours and I ain't done nothing but make a pot of coffee, eat a bagel and do my morning biological necessities.

Oh lord don't let me loose this day
don't let me be still sitting here
all day again.
I need to ride to live
but
The will to fail is strong in me
Crazy Mike's body lies a moldering in his grave

It is ever present and stalks us all, yet deep down realizations,
several times enlightened, let me know there is much more......mark
I get so god damm nostalgic for the present moment I can hardly think about the beyond , the much more, but I will find out sooner or later I guess 8)
