i like the way
all the blue is in that painting
but what do i know
i'm just a victim of color
or black & white
the sky was blue-grey & white when
i got up this morning
you ever think about all the things
that pass thru your mind
in the course of a single day?
there should be some deep ruts in there
as many times as some things pass thru
on the same path
i came across something today about
Genghis Khan - maybe on youtube
Genghis Khan & his army wiped out 11% of the world's population
- 40 million people - this meant large areas of cultivated land
ceased to be cultivated and the trees came back
removing an estimated 700 million tons of carbon from the environment
jam on
and happy Birthday CJ

interesting thought
on genghis
ya know with the
introduction of
predator wolves in
yellowstone the
whole ecosystem rejuvinated
itself, because they killed
the deer, who ate the
foilage that becomes
the trees and shrubs
everything came alive
and a the barren landscape
disappeared
kinda the same with predatory
hordes, they create a cleansing
straight up reality
jam time
at the bar

salad
o rings
wire drivers
garden martinis
ugh
the check?
but
u gotta live
why else work?
jams free
aint that beautiful :)

we're in a movie alright
the lot of us
don 't ya love how it is said that
"he/she died of natural causes"
"natural causes" standing in for deterioration
disintegration
disease -
the inevitable
all the good stuff
that gets us ready
for the road beyond this one
got a ride in this afternoon
first one in days
wind heavy out of the north
took the Coyote because of it
she sports a whole bunch of against the wind gears
that the Tripel don't have
saw an old boneyard covered
in a blanket of yellow leaves
most of the trees bare now
the ones still sporting their colors
really stand out
i mean like they were spirits or something
saw a sparrowhawk that flew along with me for a bit
and several salamanders
newts
all of them
on the side of the road
smashed flat every last one
i looked around for ya
figuring maybe you had moved on
from the bees

oh yea
medusa
I WANNA GET STONED BABY
yup yup
like in my school days
goin to class with my head in the sky
teacher sayin something about
"what is poetry?"
and it was almost unbearable
but i was high so i could take it
"what is poetry?" she asked
while i was wondering
"what isn't poetry?"
see it all around
used to write it on bus stop glass
in sharpie
things like
"you are stronger than you think"
sometimes it was
cliche but it gave me a rush
but i stopped doing that
didn't fit in with the "real" grafitti writers
writing their names on trains, public restroom mirrors,
bus windows, etc
but yea back to my original point
i wanna get stoned!
but i can't anymore
too old, i guess
so i'll just look at the clouds!

what I like best
about jam
is you never know
where it's gonna GO!
you can start in the mideast
60,000 years ago
neanderthals! yes!
cro-magnon! yes!
& end up in the day after tomorrow
and Ray Bradbury in the October Country
will have nothin' on you
you can start with a feelin'
and make it a place
you can start at the end
to talk about the beginning
you can start with nothin' at all
and finish with stones - wood - a whole built fire
deep in the woods
let it fly!
jam on!
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

dylan n cash singin
together

breakfast down
or rather brunch
thinkin bout a
drink???
feelin better
sick of coffee
ok Diana just
had a drink suggestion
gonna try
why not
jam flow
mind like an old
car sputtering
that poem u wrote
yesterday was awesome
bouncing around the
1st thought spaces
surreal
the one i wrote bout
killin bees came to me
inspired, stuck in my head
had to write it out
unusual when im out
drinking
jam
sounds loud
here
conversation next
to me uninspiring
its a crapshoot
yet sometimes
u can hear or be in
some rarified reparte
was hanging with
the governator in a
dream the other night
actually workin with
his driver/bodyguard
me apprenticed to him
got into some serious
shenanigans, had to hide in
a ditch for escape
got clear of the bad situation
in disguise, the guys after us
were like some kinda
neo nazis, i performed my mission
well, when we got back Arnold S.
was pleased......
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

waiting on the words now
maybe that train has left the station
remember that song by the Stones
"Waiting On A Friend"? yeah - always liked that tune
beautiful way to describe how it is sometimes
ok guess it's time for some chess
been playin' three minute games lately
man the shit flies at that speed
you do things you never would
in a ten minute game
wild shit every move
kinda like a good jam
blam blam blam blam
dead or alive
down & dirty
blood on the board
... Mongolia!
