Electrical or physiological
The start never ends
Or does it?
Hyways & byways
Shortcuts just won't do
A little off track
It's a little known fact
Rollin up the river
Wind in my face
Pushin ...pushin...too hard on me
Rather be on the shore
Watchin the river flow
Currents swirling like you
see in Chinese painting
Mountains above
Valleys below
Wind on the water
A poet above it all
Pointing the way to go........
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

lost luggage
better described
as baggage
the jettisoned dregs
of the past
so far gone as to be nearly
an invisible man
only trench coat and sunglasses
a distant decade
was it really me ?
don't know anymore
what definition should I cling to ?
maybe it was me
but then again if I am completely
unlike that fellow...then was it really me ?
did I imagine it all ?
doesn't really matter
unless you are a stickler
for clarity, and are writing a book
I was a lot of things long go
some are still here
and some have left the building
darwin would be proud of my evolution
I think, he'd say.....See, he proves my theory
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

ah, baggage -
those items we choose to lug with us
on long journeys...
sometimes I read my old diaries
and cringe...
why do I keep this crap?
this puerile whining?
this misogynistic racist puling?
because this adolescent vitriol
is a benchmark
a yardstick by which I can measure
how far I've come
that's not me in those pages...
but it was

i get here this morning
the talk is of mushrooms
they growing all over here
all kinds
i find them in the woods
in the fields
they have so many faces
i used to pick them from
active pastures/cows all around
when i was a kid
the white ones
that were pink underneath
take 'em home in brown paper bags
fry them in butter
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I don't know, Wireman
this place dried right up
only a handful of us still yakking
right to the bitter end -
it's why i aint here often,
not enough action so went chasing it elsewhere
and i've pissed all those folks off twice over
because they are pretentious bout everything
and they don't want my shit
- no fun and no jam
fuck it all - jam on -
even if it hurts up our skirts
i hang the hunt on a bird's ass
above, abrupt, & absurd,
put it in my haiku
smile then go boo-boo
I been shunned my skull is fun
give me guts to pump some rust
put the overload on the circuit
our birthplace don't mean shit
verb on the verge with my fingers leaking
i'm concerned then i emerge
waiting to see what the rain might do
full frontal earthquake - government of the gutter
insert insect here
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I don't know
Either
Shozan Jack Haubner
An LA monk I been reading of late
He knows not either
Buddha had the answer
"Life is suffering"
Bottom line
Marcel Duchamp had it when he said
"Don't take yourself seriously."
