Duh, is it just me or is it weird today. I got a fantasy of a seven second delay. Probably traffic. I can smell the smoke from those mainframe computers at studio eight world headquaters.

I don't think you're the only one who likes to shoot from the hip. There's lots of people here that do that. Take, for instance stilltrucking. Now that dude shoots straight from hip. And deisel dyke. She/he does too.

Zlatko post about US plans for nuclear war, (he warned us to check out the sublinks with in the article, but I didn't at first, went with gut reaction and completely taken, I don't know who the best writer here is but he has to be near the top. awesome I said something stupid, about I hoped there was no bull shit in there, and you said you hoped it was bull shit, I felt pretty dumb about that. like just what a stupid thing to say, then my posts started disapearing today and I had head trip about being deleted at that other website. I thought I had offended you all. I remember someone talking about a writer here that wore different hats for different voices. I go to get me some hand puppets, cause I am having conversations with my self, trying to maintain the integrity of the user names as voices but I all ways fuk up, I would like to use tinkerjack for some people, stilltrucking for some, gypsyjoker for others, i don't like double D user Id but stuck with it for now. A flood of emotion, very edgey with misty eyes, always been that way, noticed it first when I was a kid the old black white news reels of the soldiers being slaughtered, I had to fight back tears because boys don'tcry at the movies, now it is joy and sorrow, I feel like the tin man. My new heart doreen. First thought not always best thought, but when free associating it is a danger of saying something emotionaly stupid, I said some angry hateful things to today cause I am just that kind of guy. But almost immediatedly i edited them, the one about belief, everybody talking about bush the war christianity, blah blah, pissed me off, Cecil the only that gave a good answer, and you too "i believe in love" and manic how did a kid like her figure that out so soon. I think it must be good parenting. I wanted to stay on Clay January's message. I got to read it again but I think were I started to lose it was when some on said e-dog was chomping at the bit to get into it. I love e-dog he is a gentle man and a scholar but wan't in a scholary mood. I guess it all had to do with belief, but I wanted to deconstruct (as if I knew)

good night, I was not going to post for a couple of months or weeks, I got to do some really boring training by 08/23/05, I probably put it off until the last minute, my usual way. I wish the hell I could stay off here for a couple weeks, I get into some kind of groove like it is long haul trucking and I just want to hammer hammer night and day. Getting to dam old for that.

Just to let you know, I only read just a few posts today and I didn't read any posts which were stupid and I deleted nothing... absolutely nothing.

None of your posts under any of your names have been deleted by LR or I or anybody else, other than you, if indeed they were actually deleted at all. We certainly didn't do it.

What I meant when I said that I sure hoped it was bullshit was that I hoped that the news story about the US planning to nuke Iran was bullshit. I truly do. I wasn't saying anything you said was bullshit. I was saying that I hope the story wasn't true.

I've never read any hateful angry things in your posts. Am I missing something?

If you truly wish the hell you could stay off here for a couple of weeks, my suggestion would be to do it. If you feel you are spending too much time on the internet, the best thing is to move away from the machine and do something else for a while.

If you enjoy posting, that's good. But if your own posts get you confused or angry at yourself for what you posted... or thinking that someone is deleting you because you forget which name you post under and stuff like that, then I'd say maybe using only one username for a while might help and getting away from sitting in front of the computer for long stretches of time would be good.

I know I need to get up and walk around and do things because sitting here can get stifling, no matter how much I need to get done on this machine. It can all wait. Sometimes I need major breaks.

Anyway, don't think your posts are being deleted because they aren't.

It's a good thing to have emotions and let your feelings out but again, if you the multiple names are confusing you, then maybe using one at a time would be a good idea.

About my reply to you about burning up files.... what I meant by that is that I've been working a lot of hours today. I designed a set of logos and it was a lot of work. I'm tired.

That would be a salutary thing, in my view.

Since this country does continue to buy into Christian faith in a fairly big way, I thought adding this traditional Protestant, Bible-based argument ( sermon) might add some ingredients to this discussion.

As usual, we find the whole argument based on "unassailable" notions, such as the assertion that Jesus is "the King of the Universe."

But the subject of belief and faith is treated here. Atheists beware
( as well as Muslims, Jews, etc.,etc.).

The kind of arrogant "America First" madness of the Major's ( above) is only implied, not explicitly stated.

I did not want to get into a discusion of bush, christianity, imperialism or what the dick head major said. LR looks so pensive in his picture I wanted to know what he was thinkig, talk to him not talk about jesus. I wanted to keep it personal, not intellectual, talk about our core beliefs, the void with in us. Not american arrogance.

Well, I go to this one forum where they have a "rule" about "going off topic" and I hate that rule, really, because in real conversations, I mean, conversations in real life, the topics continually change within the conversation and maybe come back to the initial topic if that's what they do.

If you want to address Clay or anybody else, using the quote method would be a good idea, if the topic has strayed into other sub-topics.

Or you could send him a pm or email and have conversations with him that way, too. Or call on the phone. There's that option, also.

I didn't want to talk about Bush today either. So? I didn't. I've already spent more time talking about him and concerned about his agenda than I should. Sometimes I need a big news break. I try not to pay any attention to the news for weeks at a time. It does my heart good. Let the world go on without me.

I deleted about six of them, not sure I understand the off topic coment, that was my whole point, I thought clay's post was being hijacked. I should not read to much into somebodies avatar. I was worried about clay just something about his picture. I wanted to call him, maybe I am just worried about myself. DO you mean I am getting off topic should I edit my last post here? I liked that post about stupid things we have done. One of those PM's I deleted was to a woman, a total stranger, Nothing she needed to know.

I don't know nothing about PMS obviously, but some feminist doctor was speculating wether Slyvia Plath had a fatal case of PMS, ever since then I don't find the subject as amusing as I used to.

Whereas, that really wasn't the case, it was just a sub-topic.... or a way someone else looked at the topic.

So, I was saying, all you have to do in a situation like that is not talk about what you don't want to talk about and talk about what you do want to talk about. You could have quoted LR's original post and addressed it, even though it was after the political sub-topic came into the thread.

We've got about 7 or 8 avatars for Clay. He changes them from time to time or I change them for him from time to time. I change mine from time to time, too. It's just something to do so we don't get bored. lol...

The one that he's using now was a photo that Alicia took last summer when he was helping me in the garden digging .... so the only thing he was really pensive about at the time was probably how freaking hot it was and how he wished I didn't put the shovel in his hand and how he wished he could get the damn job finished and come inside where it was air conditioned.
