My most mediocre - jam it

Post by judih » May 12th, 2006, 4:22 am

my utter boredom
recorded in nondescript drab
bereft of reference
tone or glory
little in the way of ego
id or anima
my 'my' gone long ago
idiot winds without the 'i's

this, my most mediocre
will be my last

Sitting on the back stoop
Tracking the moon
Waiting for a train

I am an idiot without dots
High on the moons and stars
No future no past

Like a steam locomotive
rolling down the track
He's gone

some young dude
was about to walk past me
in the supermarket parking lot
and i saw he had a T-shirt on
that had a jack kerouac face on it
and it said jack kerouac
as i walked by i could not help but say
"hey jack kerouac"
and the dude in shades turned and said:
" you are the second person to say that"
"just goes to show how literate people are"
and i thought after, about that, yeah i did
and the poet's moon is full and i can still
hear jacks voice goin down that cool track
