Somebody told me to remember this day

Post by stilltrucking » December 29th, 2006, 7:42 pm

I was seven and a half years old, and I still remember staring into the calander to etch the eidetic date onto my brain.

Geezer memory
awesome
turns backwards into itself
like living counter clockwise in a clockwise world
I don't mind getting old because my mind was the first thing to go

confuseing--when was the start--so you are young stupid? considering the clock's are going in opposite directions doesn't that mean that you'd turn out normale.

old-prime-young
young-prime-old

considering the old and the young act much the same, and their souls have just come or gone from nothing.
thus spoke G.A.P.

sometimes you sound old to me
sometimes you sound young

have you ever been old before?
I used to be young

Can you remember how you thought about adults and their mysteries you could not understand?

The year was 1948
But nobody in my family wanted to go to Israel and shoot Arabs

I can't remember what I did five minutes ago
But my memories of sixty plus years are flooding back like eidetic images.

The wonderful baths I used to get when I was small enough to fit in her kitchen sink.

Is there anything a man don't stand to loose when he lets a woman hold him in her hands.

she meant me no harm
she had no idea I would remember

may she rest in peace

how that woman loved me
her greatest joy was just to see me eating
