was given to the orphanage cat
who gulped it down and then grew fat,
exploding in a blaze of sound
the crowds amassed upon the ground
to hear the scene and see the noise
of all unfolding with funeral poise
but sadly as the light grew dim
the church fell down, just as a whim
so the people there they all went home
to look at texts in ancient tomes...
