nine was a good year for me
Everyone I loved was still alive
I Improvised a hangman's noose
But Could not go through with it
Selfpity started early
took me another sixty years to shake it off
nothing exciting happens
just a flat tire now and then
I am fakin it everytime
I open a text box
Smokey brains
and typing slowly
waiting for a rhyme a meter
gimme something
silicon pal
something to keep me from blowing away
just a another reincarnation
another arrangement of the dna
another good time charlie
that's over the hill
mary had a little lamb
another clone
another day
another dollar
them jews witll take you last dime
can't be wrong I heard it in a stream
I want the price of admission back
my circumcission undone

no shame no pride
I yam what I yam
it is all in the maternal mitochondrial dna they say
those women loved me
they wanted me to be a jew
Nobody going to take that from me

like the wireman say
acceptance is stupendous

an unbroken chain of being
the enigma in the mystery
poetic destinies

thinking about the circle game
"we can only look from where we came
we can't go back again"
you are where you are
I am where I am
I am here you are there
we are both entangled up in blue

The souk in Istanbul swivels right
Over in Be'er Sheva, the shuk swivels left
what's more is less
entangled in a waltz of watermelon seed glory
