Tropical Tennessee in August
Boxcar full of two by four's
Manpower job

we be carrying those sticks by hand
One eyed john
the philospher and me

I was trying to look on the bright side
I say it could be worse
I guess I was happy to be working for the yankee dollar

Jesus loves me yes I know
But I would rather be paying rent
than live in that mission

He said yeah
If it was any better it would be no good at t'all.
Never heard anyone say that before

Listening to a Calypso
down trinidad way
Drinking rum and coca cola
I wish
