o i use
all my many confusions
for fuel
i roll past the kind
i roll past the cruel
a little bird asks me
"where ya goin' to?
o cousin bird, what can
i tell you? wherever it is
it appears a fact
i can tell from the graveyards
i won't be coming back!
Zoo scat a do!
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

my regular cool spot
turning dark
ska "tears of a clown"
playing
dalai lama's laugh
sincere acceptance
alone in a wonderland
enjoying the sink or swim
daze passing
he's still laughing
never nervous
under the big hat
we all should
know where that's at......

I been wallowing in the war
I been excited by the election
I been fearful of the breaking news

So I called the jitterbug
with my eye witness news blues
jitterbug is one of them people

always provokes a smile
always sees the humor
to my chicken little

ask him what he thinks
and he will tell you
"as little as possible

old friends
old dogs
these are still

the good old days

"the old just keep on getting older
and the young must do the same
whose to bless and whose to blame"
Kris Kris and Rita Coolidge.

Tinker jack
does the tango
with Sylvia Plath
she his tidy wife
into the middle years
how can u balance
perpetual?
yeah up against gravity and friction
the wear and tear
how can love prevail?

Just a go
I don't know who you say
but when has not knowing ever stopped me
I am steadffast in my path of not getting it.

A perpetual motion machine
a man and a woman
balanced in power

I wish I could remember who wrote this, it kind of sounds like mtmynd.
it went something like this.

Speaking of the love between a man and a woman

"when you were tight
and I was hung"

I don't do it justice it was a pretty poem

so anyway
I got to get away
I am addicted to the grind
still trucking to the upmost of my strength
but this ain't real life real time a real highway
but I still got wheels under me if if they are only on my desk chair.

roll on
big mama
roll on big daddy

wheels turning outside my window
people goin' to love zoom!
people comin back from love zoom!
snakes gittin' run over just
tryin' to cross the road
thrashin' around just waitin' for
the sun to go down
o daddy died twelve year ago
and there was all that lettin' go
but somethin' still got ahold of me
my teeth are all yellow & the back ones
click together when i speak & I just
love to throw my cigarette out the
window of a moving machine just for
the kick i get seeing it explode into sparks
when it hits the asphalt behind me
gentlemen let me tell ya its been
an honor serving here with you boys
so come on we still got some pedal left
still some moonlight to carve
and some earth to move
some dust to shake and
some distance to go
so when the enemies of our souls
surround us let them see in our
eyes that we ain't sweating the lock
or the load and we don't need
any back up cause all our friends
are here
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

headed on down to monday morning

Hot as hot

who knows
I believe in love.

...i don't have to believe anymore
that something's fun when it ain't...
my only regret is that it took many more kicks
in the head than it should have to
arrive at that moment of clarity...
...so jam on while the rivers
still roll to the sea...

I believe in the truth
and it will make me free
as I can stand to be
depends on my threshold for pain
because the truth can hurt

And she said she was not cruel
only truthful
she had the eye of a little god.

I believe in the music
although I can hardly hear it
I believe in wireman
I believe in you
I believe in me

I believe these are my good old days

But most of all I believe in GO ing
