jammin' the night away
on the edge
floatin' in the fringe
of the milky way
tryin' to find
a better way
on the run........
a performance
last night it felt good
amidst all the finality
the hard times
at least the
conscience party......persists
grabbin' the old tiger's tail
one more time
pick myself up
dust myself off
start all over again
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

get to it
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

spirit world restless
where the orange
blossom is special
tales to be heard
sappho or homer
they came, they saw
felt the slings & arrows
watched the rise
then the fall
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

they sling
we fall
a game of dominoes
in sideways slant-town

paint ourselves - track our tales
we are our own best abstraction

my own

snow came early
still fall here
a respite from
daily interstate
"get the hell out
of my way!"
silence of 5 am.
listening for that
lonesome diesel
horn
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

The white does gather
only spatters of green
the morning now chills
my bones creak to the rhythm
my mind still as the cerulean sky
eyes wide to city steaming
little flakes all different
like little humans falling from the eternal blue(s)
they land dissolve ...like us...like all things
even thoughts dissolve into the ether
and it all goes and goes....

it is a lonely feeling
trucking on virgin snow

makes you crazy
between the beauty and the fear

mountains don't lie
eleven thousand feet of sincerity

but it beats a traffic jam
and nine to five monotony

Big Bopper
Oh that's what I like
make me act so funny
anne francis
forbidden planet
Natalie wood
going to wear my high school sweater
once a upon a time
I was one and twenty
I gave my heart away
love takes a fearless heart
faint hearted lovers never
hop aboard Ferlinghetti's train

I feel that blood a pumping
alive alive
that's what I like
chantilly lace and a pretty face

ah shit
she wasn't pretty
but she was kind
and smart
and smiled at me
when my soul needed a woman's smile
god dam my vanity
when I was two and twenty.

time was
once upon a time
Nietzsche was daschund
in a painting of a young girl in a white dress
hanging in the hirshhorn museum in washington dc

it is all good broken hearts
and hearing hearts
standing here and now
I know it was going to be like this
so long ago
I knew
all good
I'll be here later
I'll be here
saying gimmee more of this life
it is working out just fine
as I live and learn
I would not have it any other way
catch you the flip flop
only thing I know for certain
we are all flowing towards somewhere

...and that somewhere may be just where we are
I think of going...and wonder if I haven't already gone
I've done the roadgoing
Painted myself into many corners with no escape
But I keep going...
Does it matter where???
As long as the line in the middle is broken
I'll keep going
A crazed maniac
on 4 wheels of thunder
burning for hell
burning for heaven
burning on the wrong side of the road
just keep burning...
