zero's & one's
are the medium
not the power
imagination is the power
imagination picks it up
imagination lays it down
imagination is always in touch
with everything
the bridge between spirit & soul
between soul & body
between body & mind
always on
never not ready
always available
imagination made the world
& imagination sustains it
imagination is the waters
over which the Spirit hovers
in the instant before Creation
imagination is the true jammin' child
of God

lay it out there
these things like chants
worn so deep in the mind
thousands of years worth
if for no other reason
than to let the passerbys know
the ones who left this behind
marked that they were alive

raining - easy to accept that
full of rain jam
wet surfaces jam
autumn jam
just opened my eyes
& already hard at work
i take my usual seat
the station is on line
new writes are in the barrel
discoveries will be made
sounds without
sounds within
leaves falling -
yesterday i was dealing with
mongolian throat music
but today
right now
i feel the need of
a chet baker tune

kerouac-burroughs
i imagine

film fest is over
most of the entries
full of horrific violence
ours was more
sex and fun
(yet the guy in it gets stabbed with
a banana)
kind of a skewered statement ( the film fest that is)
of the times we live in
thats what i got out of the whole thing
grueling sitting thru all of em for
2 nights
baseball bats bashing heads
guns and blood
not the kinda movies
i like to be entertained by
ugh, i'll get some writing
material from it
sometimes i feel like a
stranger in this here land
of the not so free anymore
guess im getting old
o yeah i am getting old....
i think it was french new wave
director jean luc godard who said
"Give me a girl, a gun, and a car,
and you got the makings of a hit movie."
nowadaze its baseball bats .....

dancing to bean flute
tongue shooting
basket shaking
earth quaking
was that quacking
secret word
wanna buy a duck
secret word say
could be cool jam
1st jammer to say it
wins?
jam prize
jam skies
jam underlies
everything
sticky it be
oh say can't u see
by the beautiful sea
purple mountains
majesty
smothered
in JAM!!!
