I always think about how wild it is that beat poet Lew welch wrote the ad slogan, "Raid, kills bugs DEAD!"
Jam flow
Stuttering
I believe Basho and the gang used to sit around the fire, drinking warm sake and jamming words
Flow
1st thought surfing
Nuggets within

there are many things
that intrigue me about japan
but sake ain't one of them
sake sucks -
rice wine ...
i learned quickly whenever anyone offered me
a cup of sake there to reply
in japanese - "do you have any plum wine?"

sitting in sun waiting
for the vape shop to open
traffic going by in the street
people going by on the sidewalk
good morning how are you
ain't it a drop dead gorgeous day?
this old guy comes by
we catch eye and I say good morning
he says good morning back
then he looks at the ground straight in front of him
and continues on -
just as he passed me he pointed his finger
upwards at the sky and says
"This sun is just right, it's just right"
that it is, cousin i replied -

Han Shan ain't gone dead nowhere
he's right here

text my ass - ain't the new things just wonderful?
this shit is an art considering all the shit ya got to deal with
just to get a word out -
and it can go so wrong so quick make your head spin & spin -
whoop-de-do & so long Harry Truman -
some days I believe Lizzy Borden had it down right to the numbers
- an axe would solve some of this bullshit right speedy
I'm told ya got to be careful
but some days being careful
don't build the henhouse
or feed the chickens living in it
one satisfaction to be had in war
that ya don't get in civilian life
is in war you can throw a wad of explosive at stuff
and BOOM - problem solved
and peace? - there ain't no peace
nowhere ya look - no peace
it's all war of one kind or another
from paying the rent
to getting the groceries
to settling the fuel bill
and all points in between
Bukowski said it right - war all the time

Just keeps comin'

All mind many say
Forgetting bout the gut
Feeling
Dealing
Reeling
