have you ever noticed that when we turn a page the post goes into computer limbo for a while
weather is still muggy hot
but a change is in the wind
I could smell the gulf today
150 miles away but I could smell her.

that lil dog is a riot
if he sees me reading a book
he figures it's a toy
the only things he'll mess with are what
he thinks i'm playing with
well worth the investment

I been thinking about this line in the GS poem

Thirty miles of dust.

I wonder, dirt logging roads cut through the forest. Does not sound so pretty.

I think i missed something there.

Dog's are better people than people sometimes.

priorities:
never thought any
of it was permanent
perpetual maybe
the mind made up
uselessly prolonged
positive implications
and inspirations
dogs eating, no gobbling
up zen in books
even tore up a
smithsonian magazine
working beneath
sugarloaf mountain
all this morn
a realization-
priorities me!!!!!!!!!!!

screens gleam
disaster movie
scenes.

i redeem myself

focused on melody,
