has grown a bit thin of late
or it's my age
or maybe patience

the dream
on the road again
not willie but
canned heat
goin' up the country
lift up, some daze
it's hard just getting up
anymore, but life goes on & on & I hope on...... viva Mongolia

trees beginning to turn
here & there
it will be a riot soon

cuz was here for the weekend
from the land of mickey mouse
the florida bull's eye...and we

the eldest of our mother's foray
into family...two sisters miles apart
so our time together minimal
but so... just-like-old-times.. it's scary

our voices harmonized our DNA

and my hands get cold

to toss him

the silent velcro of our lives
each gesture a response
each response a prayer
may i be understood

the walking is a must now
62 days in a row...my pact
with myself, must put on the boots
everyday, and give it a try
doing the hills, the meadows
the woods, the paths
and the non-paths, the solitude
is beyond description, to walk
and never see another human
only birds, insects, and animals
they are my new circle
I speak to them, I think I see
them wink or nod, or turn a wing
we are simpatico
man and non-man
hiker, and flyer, crawler, runner
humans are ok, but.................

keep the patience

enjoy what is, look for a little more
