or do the days look darker?

It feels a little better not to be alone.
How about some fresh strawberries
and a cream cheese filled crepe?

I am home. curled up quietly, sitting by the fireplace, reading with a book curled up in me
I am home. sniffing surreptitiously, conquering frivolity, wrapping my inanity in phyllo dough
I am home. stirring up the memory, coughing at serenity, sipping at the cognac that I splashed in my tea
I am home. making my mark on the page of time. caught up in the after birth that clings to me
dining alone. a fur-ball of reckoning. hacked up on the carpet. hardly seen.
I'm sick of sitting on unturned pages.

i'm home, making more wired ones
this time for the sowebo arts members show
which opens up on friday eve
the show in frederock will be up till
next sunday and saturday night the event from
last saturday night will be part of a filmfest here
in town at the weinberg center, raga celtic delta blues band
doin' the soundtrack...should be interesting......by the way the show went great....people got out on the floor and "boogied"

I'm plannin a trip

a whole week
maybe more,

A little turkey,

OK now that everyone's home,
who let the cat in and didn't feed him?
He's been banging his head on my
bedroom door! Woke me up from a dream
and I wanted more!

I was flying an airplane in the dream.
Off on a trip, like hest, only I was the pilot,
so it seems, oh I was blessed! Coulda gone
anywhere I wanted to! Hell, I mighta even
come visit you while you were away!
The great escape had finally come my way!

But that darn cat was mewing and scratchin
banging his head on my door and the plane
came crashin,
wide awake now
lookin for another great escape now,
but WOW!
Everyone's home?

Who's fixin dinner tonight?
It's my night off.

OK since none of you offered,
I made chili. It was HOT, baby, hot!
I left you all some in the fridge...
It's right next to the wine.
Nuke it in the microwave!
It came out fine!

Anybody want to watch a movie
with me tonight? We can enjoy
a comedy or drama while we munch
on peanut clusters.

You pick the flick.
I'll run to Blockbusters.

Some Like It Hot
would hit the spot
served with a side of your chili
Tony and Jack
will ham it up
Joe E. Brown will just act silly
after Ms Munroe has charmed us
and your delicious dinner warmed us
we'll spend the rest of the night
on the pot...
