playin' punk rock on a lute...........

she was articulate, a writer
could play punk tunes on a lute
at events we'd all sit and dig the
Ramones in a very different way,
funny how the news hits ya when
it's close to home, one minute she
was dancin' the next she was gone
every event she was there, with
interest and a smile, now the art mob
scene mourns....play on Dawn Culbertson..............

a train I jumped on almost
10 years ago, left the paper
pushin' beltway town and
found me a home, like a dog
with a bone, I'm chompin' down........
