nineOsix A.M. text box opened

Brooklyn is very cool
he has a cool voice
which he established a long time ago
he has a cool business model
cause he said he don't have one.
Or did he say "We" don't have one?

Is that the collective we as the Queen of England might use it
Or is it the staff of Litkicks speaking

My point being that maybe Action Poetry does not fit the current litkicks bizness model.

I got bad conscience with Brooklyn
I wish I had been a better Friend

R.I.P.
Action poetry
please lament
you do it so well
and it is a hard job
but you know
somebody has to...

do I sound sarcastic?
lord have mercy on me  tangential thoughts to follow

looking at a post on the film board here at Studio Eight
about a movie called Paranoia

I used to like those "Ho wood" posts by perezoso
I been getting picky about what more Ho Wood images I let into my mind.
with a father like Crazy Mike I got plenty of paranoia to deal with I don't need to add to it. But maybe I should? I done know.

 so any way speaking of sarcasm with a father like Crazy Mike I got to watch my self.

btw speaking of disciplined writting, I owe litkicks that. I can hardly control my writting anymore. Sometimes I get so hateful that I smile at stupid mistakes I make. As if to say you don't want to read this crap.

I so much wanted to be part of the writters work shop where litkicks was going to teach me to write "fast" and hard or true or something like that. It was important to Brooklyn that you give your reader a good ride. Now I could care less. This is nothing to nobody but me and my compulsion to spend my days in fruitless typing

Has to do with the twenty bucks I sent to be part of the work shop
Brooklyn is honest he offered to send the money back, because there was trouble at the office about my being part of it. He told me about that in a email and then I went and posted it to litkicks about there being trouble, that really upset brooklyn that I had violated his trust.

So like I said I got a bad conscience, this has nothing to do with R.I.P. Action Poetry. But it is R.I.P. Litkicks for me. I like to read there once in a while
I read a lot of Billellectric. He told me once I was an authentic beat, he was the second person to reply to me when I first started posting there. I think um was the first. And wireman, judih, yours truly, doreen and other dual citizens of the net. And I still like reading brooklyn and jamelah.

trying to be as sincere as kerouac
have you ever noticed how when you google kerouac you get so many hits for litkicks. seems like they have branded him'

submit.>>>>>>>.

good thoughts jack, good...
no major quarrel with levi, or litkicks.
... love jamelah's razor wit... 'ziiinnngg'!... ouch.
i'm grateful to the place for some doors opened.
if that wasn't clear, let me state it for the record.

"maybe Action Poetry does not fit the current litkicks bizness model"...
so it seems. thus my epitaph, more like an elegy, not out of spite,
but of genuine wondering. how could that energy, that immediacy,
suddenly disappear with no warning, never to return?

yes she is witty
yeah we need all the razor wit we can git
but
she is also a fine writer
what has she wrote lately
any poetry
stories
vignettes?
Maybe I have missed them.

I used to hang on every word she wrote.
From the stories about her year in Venice
to those stark romances

What is it aout these days?
Publishing?
I mean what is the main focus?
It seems to be a collection of essays about literature
but does anybody post any stories anymore?
Is there any creativity there any more
Is there any there there?

Jamelah used to post some heartbreakers
Has she posted any stories lately
Please tell me so I can go read them.
what is it about now except opinions

a cult of personalities?

Action poetry is all they got left
and they are choking that to death.

But I like to read there still
keep up with all the happening in NYC

the latest gossip in the publishing world
Find out why Phillip Roth is an over rated writer

Hey nothing wrong with that
I lie in bed at night
tossing and turning
obsessed with the problems
of mid list authors

fuck me for the sarcastic son of bitch I am.

It would appear...

that we are of similar mind and opinion on this issue.

even the new look of antiseptic kixx was watered down...
you could see it, feel it, right from the start.

'Action Poetry'... ironically titled, conceived...
never quite what it seemed, what it was to become...

Wireman, et al, Levi AKA Brooklyn, killed a good site when "Action Poetry" had its
latest crash. It came without warning & took out the bathroom sink.
A sinkhole remains where "Action Poetry", in its latest incarnation, once was.
I was disappointed & dismayed & wish "Action Poetry" could've stayed... :o

So, now Studio Eight might take up the gauntlet & continue where "Action Poetry" left off.
Studio Eight is a more spontaneous site...So let's fly the Studio Eight Forum kite! 8)
