new century seeming cold
it's just us going old
no more indians in the woods
& they wouldn't live there now
even if they could

________________ too much of too much
is what's goin' on
at one time it was "Here comes the sun"
now we're ducking & runnin'
to keep from being painted black
we don't need to wash it
we don't need to make it clean
we don't need a new road
cuz we already got one
& this is it & this is us
taking it to the finish line
to the finish line
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

i can't dance now
cuz i'm headed somewhere it seems
shadows on the boatdeck
no more fishing in dreams
ladybugs climbing up the walls
they are their own home
but prey to a rapacious call
i was born in a shack
that maybe on its best days was a cabin
my whole family lived there
breathing & grabbin'
i don't say i want to stay here
i don't say take me home
the problem is how do we
rebel against our own bones
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

we knowers are unknowns
to ourselves

how can we find what we never looked for
I been busy as a bee gathering knowledge
life who has time enough for experience :(
I think I was born in a book
I was raised among crocodiles
I either dance or die
that's my problem

maybe jam is like the old gunfighters in the street
beats me
treats me fine
since I lost my mind
on cheap talk and wine
should it rhyme

be on time

jam is a lot like west texas where those lonely two lane blacktop runs straight to the horizon
with an occasional hitchhiker

or a friendly voice on the old cb

what should be jam be like

all I can say is I hardly hear the music
I wish I had your ears but I don't
but I get by
I get lost I get found
the music changed for me in the fifties
there was another generation in there don't get much ink
any more

coyotes in NYC now
who says there is no such thing as progress

a generation lost in space
the Rosenbergs get the chair
strontium 90 in the air

Rock and Roll
the first generation
bobby sox and saddle shoes

gray flannel suits
in a lonely crowd
of organization men

my generation
blink and you will miss it
the sixties gets all the ink

even though the beats did their best work in the 50's
when the American dream was to be well adjusted to our neuroses

~GO!Ville
Gobble
Glorious morn
One more snow?
Long winter
Little in between
Season of heat looms

Jamsters
Not living on the writers block
Not knowing which way to go
Not caring that it doesn't even matter
Long run
Long night
Always long night
Tranquilo in the knowing
It all boils down to Jam!

is it jam
or am I just bloggin
I don't know
but you know it feels right
feels like I am running with the big dogs
I can't explain that but I think Dean Moriarity would know what I mean

we get twisted
like them sculpures of yours do

Allen gets twisted by his mother
the world gets a poet and a prophet
the hero a thousand faces
that's why god needs mankind
he likes to twist us
creators in his image

and god kills his son just to show he loves mankind

Buddha so cool on his stool

thinking about a Mexican home all wet and warm

yesterday was thunder and rain ozone my senses
the doors of perception
the written word crawls across the screen in thick black worms of text

listening to Lennon sound byte
"when I get down I get really yin"

if not for the women here
I would just be gone
friends
I lean on them
to keep me going

"Lord, if you won't take care of us, won't you please, please let us be?" randy newman
thanks dino

Jam is always begin.
Like taking off
on a walk
Or an adventure
"What's behind that tree?"
Parapets with no regrets
Cyber devices in hand
Little notebooks on
back burner
Trudging city streets
Goin' up the country
Lucille do u wanna go

Think I'll just sit outside
Nola cafe with the pliers and wire
Make bugs and small faces
Should start to get warm.....soon
Get lost in the wire
Talk to the touristas
Drink a PBR or 3
Sounds like a plan

no spots before my eyes
sometimes wish there were
what do you call it
this thing we are in
line up the question marks
firing squad style
& let it roll Mata Hari
let it roll
my first Doors album summer '67
listening to break on through in my room
as my father watched Red Skelton
in the living room
before the days of working for a living
before the time in the Navy
all gone now & since
and the people I went thru it with too
picked up some attitudes along the way
but done with them now
none of the neighbor kids
listened to the Doors
I was the only one
but the new shores I came to
in that music had soul kitchens
beneath the decks of crystal ships
and my soul was the grasslands
where 20th century foxes
came to be hunted
and if you were a daring bastard
you could get them to whine & moan & bark
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

there is no memory of what went on
the world started fifty years ago
and our eyes register the light of stars that died
fourteen billion years ago

the only thing that keeps me here
the rock of my sanity
beyond touch beyond hearing beyond sight
everything I know is wrong
except for this

my guitar gently weeps
mysteries

Guitar is king
Piano reigns
Dishes run away
with spoons
Watching a one year
old toddler like
some kinda miracle
Experiences I never imagined
Come my way
Simple decisions
But decisions all the same

watching a toddler in a man's body
I would take a punch from him if I had to
only one way, ur way, Jack's way, my way, mingo's way, Christ's way
the easy way
the Buddha got good news too
