we all on the way
sometimes I lose my way
but if I keep on believing
then I find it again

Jazz alive
As ever
Ecum spiritu
Derek Trucks
Snarky puppie

They was great

Big dogs
Hoppin frogs
Rollin n tumbling
Cross the open plains

Miracle of puter
I feel like writing
It's right here
And playing the music
Providing the info
Instantly
Taking u places you'd never
been, kinda like a dream
Ommmmmmmmmmmmm

Jam no plan
Early Friday morn
Better than dreams
Or is their anything
better than?

more than
less than
windows
walls
everywhere
the ground is not sleeping
& things appear only to disappear
here we seem to be
in the midst of it
calling for food
calling for drink
calling for music & poetry
in madness we labor
in mayhem we sleep
dreams of enough
dreams of further
a small band of men crossing wilderness
the prophesied & the promised
crossing Galilee
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

under the sky
open country
a far as the eye can see

in round huts or rectangular condominiums
with our first breath
we breath in the world
as we are taught to see it

windows, walls, chairs, God, gender, sweet and sour, good and bad, beautiful and ugly, we learn to label everything, and believe we can control what we have a name for.

I dream of highways

with loving parents
and brothers sisters
breath in
friendship and community
music art books
fortunate few get surrounded as children by all that
others are born more aware than fortunate
so they find it on their own

sometimes
I feel like a childless mother
with these transcendental blues
jam
blue jam
blueberries and raisin brand
got damn
can't get food off my mind
my mind off my belly
my mind got a mind of its own
I can scarcely control the patterns
it wants to run in
like a hamster cage
if not for music
if not for musicians
I would not be alive anymore
musicians are god
power grows out of guns
and guitars
or violins and conga drums

music music
when the buzz becomes a whine
pretty nice wine
going down rockin
thanks dino

crossing Galilee
hell yeah cross Mongolia too 8)

like a hit of lsd
in the mist of the madness
I saw the light

a small band of warriors
becomes a horde
doing what they loved
riding horses and kicking ass
but would
Genghis Khan use a land mine
a disease vector, a hydrogen bomb
warfare not what it used to be
the fun went out of it with swords and horses

Finding a place
in the waiting game
Set 'em up
Knock them down
Remembering before
automated pin spotters
More like between
a labor & a noisy
extreme
Talking 'bout bowling
Some love it, some don't
I'm in the middle
Lovin' the interaction
Don't wanna be on a team
Darts a little more my speed
At least u can do it with
drink in hand

Rambling early Sunday morn
Steady rain, stomach churning
Reading bout Gary in India
Lookin at a standing proud
wired creature in progress
before me
Morning dove cooing
outside my back door

hard job settin the pins
first money a lot of kids made

jam is standing tall
small band of jammers
sometimes I can sometimes I flop
open text box stare at blank screen
I got nothing exit out
hate it when I try to force words
into meanings

perfecto jam
just let it roll like
twisting wires into words

don't know I just like
playing in the jam

Things
Not so automatic
Automaton
Antarctic
Angelo
Ayahuasca
Slipping into darkness
I feel so good...I wanna boogie
Till the break of day
Back to life
Infernal hum
Distant revolver
Called time
Steady Rollin
Like a bop sax
A guitar refrain
Being left out in the rain
Upon the open plain
I still wanna Jam!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

in the mist
of the midst
of a goofy old world
where for profit corporations are people
with religious freedom
we all bow down to the god almighty dollar
in the last days of the late great death dealing christ forgetting USA
—if walker percy was here to jam

a corporate jam
like to see that one

waka du ku

get up in the morning
to sun & blue skies all the way
the birds in my head all
on the ground
then rising all at once
to circle & fly off
old ghosts in mind & heart
rise & circle
to go with them
this is what happens when you wake up
you see things
& you hear things
sister went south
to look for some long gone grandfather
she just found out about
down in the delaware indian country
tells me it's beautiful down there
& she didn't want to come out
found the graveyard on private land
couldn't get to it
tells me she's goin' back
when the weather gets better
and get permission to cross
i figure if she finds that headstone
so old by now the carved words
will all be worn off unreadably smooth
we go looking behind us
to find it's all been worn off smooth
but she's fascinated to find deeper roots
and in love with holy quests
wherever the jam might take her
well i'll sit here & drink my coffee
i don't have to worry
she will bring me the news
where flesh once met bone
to walk & talk
