Uh oh... don't panic! You can get it back! It's all there!

Take it to a computer repair place and have them restore the data. It can be done! It's never gone totally usually! They might not be able to restore everything, but they should be able to restore most of it!

It probably won't cost that much... $100 maybe...

And then, in the future... back up back up back up!!!!

You can get a 20 gig USB thumb/zip drive ... little tiny doodad you stick in your USB port .... for like only $40 or something. Maybe less. Prices go down every day.

After you get the data restored, just back up, every day onto that thumb drive. You can also get an automatic backup utility.

Is this a Mac or a PC?

lost on the moon...

Damn! I forgot the next line...
it appeared and
I had it but then
it just disappeared just that quick ...
it happens alot cause inside
my head everything's a train and
they all have destinations that may or may not be me
you can't stop nothin' much less
a single piece of rolling stock

This is me singin' the
Trainman's Skip Time Blues

( james taylor may be bald [boo doup be doup] but he still can sing )
ya know steve jobs and james taylor look a lot alike to me. I think they are secret brothers in a Carly Simon dream of coffee where she takes a sip then speaks French over the phone to Hemingway who tells her he really meant to die in Alaska.

Dear Carly,
Send me a kiss so soon before it's too late.
help me Baby.
Love, mingo

the jam will be ours for as long as we need it.

Our Jam who is in heaven
hallowed be your jam
your jam be come
your jam be done on earth
as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily jam
and forgive us our jams
as we forgive those who jam against us
and lead us not into hollow words
but deliver us from craft
for yours is the Jam
and the Power
forever. Amen
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

jamming, jamming, jamming
nothing like jamming with you.

blue in my genes
new in my rocks
fevered in fright
or an ice box blew in my jeans
rocking the news
freightlines and steamengines
blocking the ruse
bleu cheese in moldy red socks on a yank
steamy sweat fever pitch
full armored tank
Jean rides the waterfall blues in an ark
Noah's a warrior saint in the park
old Martha Washington rocks on a horse
Jesus is knitting for babies, of course
