ok...I'm standing on a thick carpet of mottled moss with maiden hair ferns growing all around and...and...I've taken all my clothes off...it's june...now what?...no, really...it took me awhile to sort myself out on your piece here...I tried word after word & sentence after sentence but nothing seemed to fit all that is going on here and a simple statement of 'feeling" is inadequate too...so i came back here this morning to try again - there is a strange & surprising blend of the truly erotic & truly pornographic here, I found it unique and holy somehow in a way I cannot explain - the spirit of it is simultaneously in-your-face & powerfully elusive...see?,it has made me verbose...ok...I'm standing on a thick carpet of mottled moss with maiden hair ferns growing all around and...and...I've taken all my clothes off...now what?...no, really...it's june...

and an owl swishes overhead
june night caresses my steaming skin
dark voices tickle my ears
barefoot communion
soundless strumming of road
i remember the shooting stars
in junes of past
quickening of chlorophyll scent
my heart beats in eucalyptus time

stolen from one long june night dream
plucked like fruit from from night
luscious, bite for bite
trickling, seeping, full of gleam
softly dripping into the stream
of something becoming wide

Croon it baby
to the moon
and all the starlights listening.
