I hearby dub this the "Jacob had no personal computer" thread!

Yeah, no computer of my own. taking the time to do this at a library computer. I've been passing the time by starting up on writing rough drafts for my stories, painting stuff, cleaning up my room, and working. It's a big deal having no computer, for me at least. Not only do I have severed contact with those I've been speaking with over the Internet, but I also can't move forward on video, art, and writing projects of my own. Sure, I can technically still write, but can't finish anything without the computer.

So I'm out of comission for awhile, till I can figure out a way to get the data off my computer and either fix it or buy a new one. Need to figutre it out eventually...

No computer is no good. I hope you can work something out and can get back on track!!!!

update in the form of sadness: can't get info off via firewire, and will need a mac specialist to get the data off in some way. Don't know when that will be. In the meantime, I've considered getting a mac to me asap via pay for it over time instead of all at once. will just need to see if the moneys will allow such a thing.
