No tattoo yet
but maybe I will someday
on my forehead some words of wisdom
to read when I looks in a mirror
Ain't got no ink either
just these photons
bouncing off the screen
like pixelated words
In the meantime
I know what I am waiting for
Till then I will take the old blacksmith's advice

Townes ain't waiting no more
He don't need money no more
He dead
but not forgotten
It seemed to me the sunshine walked beside him, I feel blessed to have been in the same room with him. Twenty years before he became an overnight sensation.

We all had little clouds over us
Some were in a stupor
Some wandered
found the light
before it was
too late
It's not too late for young old timers
with hearts of brass balls .. .. .. ..
and wired for visionary disillusionment
with all the old ways
till we see that woman walking
with th sunshine beside her
and she knows her days of sunshine are waning
but she takes our sad songs as long as she can
and dies alone
without a god-son or god-daughter to hold her
and breaks our spirit
and makes us weep with regret
and wonder

reminds me of a song by a friend of mine
bits and pieces is all I can remember
"where are the children of sunlight
and why did they have to go'
and this bit
"if we fill every moment with love
the time will see that it's done"
He used to play his songs at old age homes
You doing the right livelihood thing
I am still working at it.
I used to use this as my avatar.
I sometimes wonder if women have darker clouds than men.
this is turning into an Image-ination Jam

I remembered a couple more lines of thesong
"we are the children of sunlight
we have all had our time in the sun" the spinoza of Baltimore.
Reading a wonderful book called The Denial of Death
Our quest for the heroic
eons of ions
quantum mysteries
let our hearts be
forever young
keep us in wonder
knowing more than we can say
It is going to be a long time gone
This mystery of my life
In the eternal night I rest
Till the sea gives up its dead
When the spirit moves across the face of the waters
Again.
Till then
Let my spirit be unchained

lots of mystery yeah
contemplation is healthy if we try
to find reasons for hope and meaning
to change our perceptions of what has come down from the past
the hanif tribe became the jews
with a few going down to mecca
abe an ishmael an hagar
and their entourage just a few
became the quraish tribe
caravaners and built the giant cube
will is always best when it is logical
in perception about what is best
emotional reasoning is used to manipulate and divide
i made a phone call broadcast conversation on air yesterday
www.wmnf.org
radioactivity
talked about detroit bill and revolution
it went very well
two dark spots remembered and told
with sadness and a lousy phone connection
but rob helped me to clarify
i had remembered me as literaly screaming
but i was real and quaking more tremuolous
and today i left rob a thankyou phone call
for helping me to remember detroit bill
and then i cried for him
he helped me
compassion and empathy
i wanna do a performance show with my collaborator
the storyteller
this october at th people's fair
circus mcgurkis

Yes the Jews come from a very old tribe
from pre-patriarchal days
They are still matrilineal
and they know that the woman, as the childbearer,
has special knowledge and wisdom
and knows the creation mysteries
and in Judaism, the women in the Old Testament
are talked about a lot more than modern Christians talk about them in their patriarchal churches
In Islam we still have a very entrenched patriarchy
The Koran is more modern than Genesis
which claims a man is created first out of clay
and given dominion over all things
and then a woman is made from his extra rib
and she is to be his helper ....
Our Recitation is classical yet scientifically prescient
and says that the first animals came from a single cell
which changed, from self replication
to finding binding with another call as its mate
and from these cells came female and male
There's no confusion
We wanted more respect for women
Eve standing under the fruit tree
her hand out bearing fruit
showing and blessing the man
is a lot like Kwan Yin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion
Maitreiya is coming when we bind ourselves together
She will seal the deal one fine day
Til then, just keep on jamming
and getting together
with wisdom songs
redemption songs
Know we are now doing an important job
- right living
and you got to know you good!
You've got to know
you got ta know
ya's gotta know you gooood!

I been missing Detroit Red a lot lately
Somebody called him a douche bag
I think about the most Christ like man I have known
the spinoza of balitmore
I don't care Jimboloco
I mean about the Bible
it is an interesting book
got some great poetry
kind of an anthology of near eastern religions
what I do wonder is the blood that flows in my veins from my mother and my father
is it really the same blood that goes back all those years
or somewhere along the way am i descended from a 13th tribe
Yes reckoned through the female line
the mitochondria passed down from mother to daughters but not to sons.
Amazing what we have learned about life since I started out as a pre-med student 51 years ago. Back then the mitochondria was some mysterious body in the cell that no one knew what the hell it does.
Oh well
I wonder who wrote the book of love.
I don't understand why you give me those evil twisty emoticons
I said something to offend you?
Love this song

I would not swear on a stack of bibles
that was the truth
just my first thoughts to what you are saying
I am not that interested in who begat who
well yes but only as regards my family
what bound us together strangers in foreign lands
these past couple of thousand years
Sometimes I wonder about the hands that wrote the Books
and the intention behind the intention
What voice did they hear in their desert and on their mountain tops
and what they cribbed from other tribes
Yes the goddess on the mountain top
became the abomination
On the upside no more human sacrifice
Till God became his mother
In Mean time perfectly nice people
Christians marching as to war
are praying for final victories
I am just grateful to be alive this late into the 21st century
You are offended by Calvin and Hobbes?
It's just a got dam comic strip for Crisps sake.
About a little kid
a little boy and his stuffed tiger.
I dam near went into mourning when my paper stopped carrying that strip
Calvin and Hobbes the names have some significance I read somewhere.
Do you remember when you were a little kid and you thought girls had cooties?
I do.
Well I might not be such a good example. I am still a recovering woman hater.
Somebody jump in here with some poetry please
this is all I got for now.

Code: Select all
In the second decade of the second millennium of the common era
A miraculous era of newfangled wars
warriors with model airplanes
kill rag-heads from afar
morbid games of tit for tat
Imams with lap tops in third world hells
send their zombies to kill in Times Square.
hammer hammer on the yellow brick road
mile marker Zion just around the next bend
over the next hill
It will be all down hill from there
rolling free
rolling hard, rolling home

Praying and bombing our way to a final victory
Oh boy
"The English army won the war"
Again.
Every thing is just peachy
"American woman stay away from me
I don't need your war machine."
Lysistrata kissed a frog
And he turned into a handsome commander in chief.
"Gimme that old time religion"
It was good enough for George W. Bush
and Osama bin Laden
It is good enough for Barack Obama
Oh Detroit Red what would you say
if you were here today
See no evil
"Listen to the music"
It is going by the book.
they say
"Morning maniac music"
