Started to post a quote by Kerouac to this thread. I got Dylan and Kerouac mixed up sometimes.
A poetic voice if there ever was one
Dylan doing better at staying forever young.
How the hell did you get so old Jack—so old at the tender age of 47.
"Natural selection, as it has operated in human history, favors not only the clever but the murderous." Barbara Ehrenreich

Oh, the flowers of indulgence
and the weeds of yesteryear,
Like criminals,
they have choked the breath
of conscience and good cheer

"Gonna raise me an army, some tough sons of bitches
I'll recruit my army from the orphanages
I been to St. Herman's church, said my religious vows
I've sucked the milk out of a thousand cows"

As Bobby D. would say:
"Don't follow leaders, watch your parking meters..."
"The pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handles..."

--Subterranean Homesick Blues

How true for nowadays...parking is going up and there is oil slick in the Gulf. Hey, let's get in line for Bobby D's autograph, if he's in the mood,
the next time he's in town. Last time I saw him was his double billing with
Willie Nelson at our local BellSouth Baseball Field in 2005. Too bad Bob's
not coming to Riverbend Festival. Willie's been at Riverbend twice.
I hope Bobby D. comes back soon. Five years is a long time...We saw him in the rain under a tent. Bob Dylan's the MAN.
