river boats capsize (lost brown babies rotting)
a jetty of remorse clotting up with dead babies rotting

WWII community spirit
pulling together for the ripped apart

governments give loose pocket change
to save face
but the wars rage -
antagonistical

ok the story is
I need new strings on my guitar
and when I get them they won't be in tune
not for a day or two

I'm resigned to that
it's not like I'm waiting
for the water to retreat
