With my family watching sandhill cranes,
New found whooping cranes,
and assorted herons and pelicans...
We caught some "channel bass",
The captain maneuvered the flatboat
Toward a photo opportunity with the birds...

Church bells ring through Sunday garden...goldfish surfaces in the pond to bare witness to the whole scene...waiting for tomatoes to ripen....wild rose bush... a ceiling of shade as I sit and do nothing... The city humms in the back ground...speckled sun through the green...poppies red and tall...Basil for pesto....a bee buzzes around and around...Lotus flower smiles at the blue above...brass Buddha sits doing nothing.....stone path to it all.........
