drenched in jealousy
wrenching with fear
sipping on cocktails of bile
tinder doom
choking on fumes of tragedy
vial breath
smells like death of a child
tearing flesh from the womb
heartached consumes
guilt blooms
grief entombs
my thoughts are clear
neither of us are wanted here
abandoned
led off-course
pausing at the clearing in my head
my unborn child dead
staring at the butcher knife lying in my bed
the floor
the ceiling, walls stained red
where my defeated spirit bled
wicked seethers
