word jam — fictional definitions
One of my favorite ongoing jams at Arcanum was "Words Not In the Dictionary" - neologisms coined on the spot, either redefining an existing word, or altering it slightly in spelling to better drive home the pun. A few examples of the former:
moron - the fundamental particle of stupidity
zebra - support for ze breasts
penultimate - the best writing implement, ever
and of the latter:
knavy - a flotilla of rogues
wickerpedia - the online encyclopedia of basket weaving
iguano - lizard dung
My track record at getting jams rolling here ain't too good, but what the hey..... It's kinda fun
(and it's okay to have fun...)
...
any takers....?

Re: word jam
To give the game a little structure, we imposed the constraint that the entries be made alphabetically. Since this begins with "b", the next one should be "c" - so I'm going with
champain: (n) the headache one experiences on January 2
next up - "d".........
