as a boy i watched and listened
life was just so much
was i only one unknowing
was it a game i didn't understand
i played
but at the same time i sat questioning
the earth the sun the moon
infinity beckoning
who am i
just a boy
hoping for someone
something
to let me know
it is as it is
and we must traverse it as best we can

and the 'little boy' in you remains in me as the little girl, still wondering as one foot is placed in front of another.

the beauty expounds
i am happy even when surrounded by silly
all is needed even if we don't agree with it
