Why Didn't You Get Laid?

Reasons why I didn't get fucked again today.
Internet Trolls.
biological rhythms
spite and timing.

the headaches are coming
closer together now.
at least something is coming
closer together.

I suppose even paradise
gets tiresome eventually

the dew evaporates by mid morning
as we mourn the death of romance
moisture flees and so does hardness

a bitter cold sets in like age
and I don't get fucked again today.

hunger isn't the same as appetite
when the stomach isn't filled it shrinks
and we begin counting reasons
why we didn't get fucked today.

how to impress a woman

wine her, dine her,
compliment her,
tell her she is beautiful!
speak to her in poetry
with words that say
she's wonderful!

give her flowers ev'ry day
and draw a picture of the way
her eyes create your wonder
while you listen to her ev'ry thought

look into her eyes and let her know
the hopes that she has taught

open up to her and tell her
all about your pains, your dreams,
then caress each inch of her
with the touch of eyes that gleam

treat her like a princess,
show her you respect the very ground
that she walks upon and open doors
for her without a sound

offer her your seat
and cook for her treats,
massage her back, then mean
each word you speak
when giving stolen moments
from your day's routine!

be kind to her
and put her on a pedestal
that's very high!
value and respect her space,
and never ever ask her why
she is the way she is,
don't question motives,
never make demands!
never try to change her,
just appreciate her,
understand!

tell her over and again
and over and again once more
just how special that she is
and that you'll never leave her for
ANY other woman since
there are no others to compete!
put her first in ev'rything,
adore her, keep her pleased (in heat!)

whisper to her words of praise
into her ear and worship her!
make her know she is a goddess
... with your Love, you nourish her! ;)

how to impress a man
this is easy,
i conclude.
simply show up nude
with food

A fresh poem would also work

Contrary to popular belief,
Less is never more –
When it comes to love
Less is less
Of this I am quite sure.

repetition of devotion,
by the numbers,
like romantic clockwork,
will smother the spark,
certainly be spurned.

worship aphrodite
with more genuine offerings
of unspoken connection,
of divine gravity,
humble, true.

something that came to mind....

not by popular belief
but by observation
what you see is what you don't get
patience ain't no virtue
what can't be taken together
can be taken alone

Les-

why don't you pick some flowers
from the garden for your girl?
look into her eyes with love
and set her heart aswirl.
teach her to write poetry.
(she may not know a rhyme!)
woo her, coo her, make love to her
give her gentle time.

just an idea, if you're looking for more
love from your lady, Les S. More.

"Just look what we have done
two heads are thicker than one
two heads are thicker than one, two heads

It's just a matter of who gives in
nobody moves then nobody wins
is there no solution in sight?
Will I be sleeping with my pride tonight?"

Oh! You are talking of internet love?
That's simply an apparition!
There's no such thing as far as I know
Though some would think so and are wishin'.
How could two people have love online?
That's bogus! It's must be just in their minds!

what I meant to say was...

love cannot be held for ransom
nor can it be bought

lust is more open to negotiation
however....

Love cannot be loaned
though I have known
a time or two when
it has begged to be
returned after its giving.

Love cannot be borrowed
like a book of verse
from off the shelf,
or forced into renewal
once its term expires.

Love is in and of itself
a gift which must be
nurtured for its living.

Love cannot be loaned
or borrowed;
Love is a hymn, inspired;
an offering of harmony
from heart's
angelic choirs.
