It is good.
It is done.
This is enough.

This is done

they say
he said
it is finished,
then breathed
his last breath.
is it possible
to conquer death
with a myth?
energy is
transformed.
it must go
somewhere.
does it scatter
then reassemble?

Eulogy
He lived-he died,
And no one cried
No one shed a tear
Except for one whose heart he touched
And a child that held him dear

And at last,
the eternal river of motion and I
will become one,
as with inexorable flow
I will drift with it
forever
in total peace.

you found all that?
you found his purpose?
you found his voice?
you found the noises
in his head with a search?
you found his swelled head,
his damaged distance?
you found his insistence,
his persistent darts
of artistry? you found
all that? i am so pleased
you looked and i have been
looking and finding more
than i ever knew!
what will they find
when they look for me
or you?
i've been on my hands
and knees cleaning the floor
with a potscrubber.
my tears help suds
to do its job and i have
come to conclusions
during the past five
minutes.
nothing is finished.
nothing is done.
it is never over,
always young....
and every touch
we've ever known
we'll leave the way
it had come...
all will diseappear
one year when we
least suspect,
gone like cybercafe
designs once on time,
once on the edge,
erased with a delete
button.
it is never done.
it is always done.
all will be gone.
dawn comes clear
when you're near
a slab with no
basement.
wave hello.
wave goodbye.
why?
why?
