For Tomorrow

Post by mtmynd » January 7th, 2006, 1:11 pm

what is tomorrow
but the next sunrise
that happens
over and over again
in a never-ending dance

tomorrow is not the future
but the inevitable -
that ceaseless spin
of our geode home
in a presence of now
that does what it will

our futures are only
our next generation
of questioning beings
asking what? where?
when? and why?

who among us
but we mortals
with questions
asking for answers
seek a future
from the questions
that form from the
ethers that impale
our lives in mystery

we regard
we dis-regard
we promise
we lie
we protect
our egos
from the reality
of now
in seeking a future
that will only die
as those that
came before in
marched steps
toward that
one more sunrise
but same endless
pattern performed
today until tomorrow

my future aint what it used to be
full of money love and dreams
and I pissed it all away for
just wanting to be a jazzman
a song and dance man
and an earlie riser

"lover's who speak of a love promised future, speak mindless of time's constant prowl"

where the mystery intersects, a que ball with an english spin, an eightball full of self fool fulling prohephsey.

just turtles all the way down and if god don't play craps with the universe, mayby god shoots pool with the planets.

Sunny morning
home sweet home
steam bath in near future
emotional weather report
dark as a dungeoun down in this mine.
change writting desk
feng shui ??
morning office and afternoon office
sunshine high
hope this aint another say hijac.
