like that sink or swim
runnin thru the jungle
tigers on my tail
turn around ever so
sticky and roar like
a snail, or was that
a "you'd never believe"
the chance to scream
the chance to dream
the chance to bleed

our words on parade

an open page
can speak a lifetime of regret
or sit sallow
in the grave
and utter naught
