Thinking back - past lives jam
once upon a jerusalem hillside
i led my donkey through hyssop fields
handwoven skirts rustling through thistles and clover
saddlebaskets laden with wheat,
i sang a throaty melody
invented to accompany the day
clouds so distant, sky so blue
my heart full and feet lithe
navigating rocks as i made my way home
i remember this me as i climb the hills today
the Ein Karem village
white stone buildings
now an echo of then
my name a sound so dear to me
the land laughs when i pronounce it
ji ju
ha!
ji ju
long lost sisters, i and i
we hold each other steady
as we climb the rocky slopes
the smell of green herbs
entwining our hearts

As of yet unattained actual visualizations
of past lives, wives, husbands, daughters,
sons, mothers, fathers, friends, etc.
But intuititive knowing and instant
recognizance of instant like, dislike
of any, good indicators. Cosmic justice
dictates all. What went out comes back.
One lifespan not enough to explain
silver spoon births, deformed bodily temples,
seemingly undeserved sufferings, blessings.
Genetics? Ah....the vehicles of karma.
Be well,

None of us ever gets anything we don't either need or deserve. Dry those liquid emotions and move on.

chime rhymes with wind
in days gone by in a whisper of voids
tinkle on blue smooth air
hush and intake
slow change in direction moving now
toward its centre everywhere
tiny spears of grass draw breath
as pain staking strokes of brush
letters are made in haste no waste
yet with mindfull art done in fullness
to the task to enshine spirit to its sign
this open door
beyond
we go with the sound of the paper drinking ink
tinkle on blue smooth air
hush and intake
slow change in direction moving now
toward its centre everywhere
tiny spears of grass draw breath
as pain staking strokes of brush
letters are made in haste no waste
yet with mindfull art done in fullness

i see you
on the hill
high above me,
i know you
by the way your hair blows
in the wind
and how
you hold
the basket
on your hip
i run
to catch up
to you.
barefoot
on the rocky slope
there is no pain,
only a giggle
on my soul
in anticipation
of surprising you.
drawing close
i hear your song
"long lost sisters, i and i
we hold each other steady..."
i'm behind you
now
beside you
as it was
so it is.
and the good men circle
and we embrace them.

jammin back
cyber ages
lit pages
before the
kick in the
ass
before the
crash
back when the
give & take
was more than
shake & bake........................................
cyber ages ago
I had five wives, (all died in childbirth) and 13 children
then the kick in the ass and the disapora
shake & bake in The New World order
and My Next Duchess is an american beauty
I am repulsed by the thought of her tongue probing my rotted teeth
yes cyber ages ago
a billionth of a nanosecond ago
I was so much younger
time conquers time
I am time
and my past is not what it used to be.

smarts
i use to think i had em
smarts, i wonder
what kind of taking
of pains taking
of staking my claim
to some
some then them
some use to be
things could be so
smart and dumb
looking but not seeing
and the more i looked
only in the art did i see
what i use too, some
field of reality
comin and goin
if i was jack quick
i could get a lick in
the words are
the key

once upon a sunwarmed island
among the spices of cardamom and thyme
i sang a dream
and blew spheres of joy into the sky
while gleams of the sea giggled and whispered
and tickled my skin with light
i swam in the soft wind
drank the sun and
licked shadows like ice cream
while i talked to myths
that peered out from behind olive trees
overrunning rock and reason
close to the scent of rosemary and salt
i suckled on yesterday and tomorrow
delicious like sweet almonds
got drunk on time wine
my eyes closed in
the flight of a sunbeam
i lay within the warmth of the moment
laughter surging around me like waves and breezes
peacefully, as i silently dissolved
so very present
so very right
and my name came full circle

i was in a running stream
huckleberry finn
floating the mongol mountains
valleys
hidden villages
sweetly deep in scattered valleys
along a stream
looking up
i saw the mountains walled
the meadows fragrant
sung with chalk on stone
the early dreams of reverence

i knew when i stood under the waterfall
i'd spoken with the voices of the land
there was no past - there was 'is'
the is of the splash, the shine of the rocks
the sounds of the present
with a swish of awareness, is became all
at once
one's in one
without seeing, all seen
walls of transparent sheen
i, water, i land, i human bridge
