there is no more peace for the things that i see
aside from the doom that my presence may bring
the dogs run away from the mouse with the net
and the birds flee in fright from the dragons they met
i can bring up another three thousand year dream
without falling away from him holding the ring
but instead of a fear and in spite of the pain
the eyes blink like puddles reflecting the rain.

They would make me feel guilty for breathing,
much less my dreams.

All dreams of peace are three thousand years out,
for that is always the time left,
millennium to millennium,
as others much smarter,
explain and explain.

millennium to millennium,
as others much smarter,
explain and explain
The dreamers come and go,
the dream goes on forever
the last fading sound of a train
a lingering melody
an eternal buzzzzz
I am not cruel, only truthful---
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.

the view from my soapbox is breathtaking.
mount everest of philosophy and justice.
i am the fount of channeled wisdom up there...
a prophet, though the competition's heavy.
still, silky sermons of milk and honey flow,
or fiery tornados of Elijah, foretold.
my words are a fresh caress of blown dust,
timeless, aimless deserts, but with soul.

and i just had to get it off my chest.

Yeah man it is as serious as a fart in a space suit. Speaking about farts, I am sorry about the quote. Sometimes I have no other voice than a a poet's.

Better on your chest than around your throat.

And then there was Uncle Siggies whine about poets. "Where ever I go, a poet has been there first.

Speaking about things in your chest, I think I will go to the store and either by some cigarettes or celery. Maybe both.
