watch it and weep

to the perseid showers
no need for soap
just spare a few hours

these showers lighting
the WAY.....are they

by the light of celestial fireworks...

perseid showers

When it comes to poetry I could fuck up a poetic wet dream
I am so far from the sky at night
Under a skull cap of electric lights
The brightest stars are faint

Desperate to see a dark night
I close all the blinds, hang blankets over the windows
And sit in the darkness with a starfield screen saver
And listen for whispering sound of frozen snow falling into silence

Standing out side in the quadrangle beneath the electric lights
Searching for a falling star I see a purple band of light
Arc across the sky.
Silent as a falling star

Tonight is another night
Searching for the heart of darkness
I sit on an over pass watching trucks roll west
To brilliant desert night

In New Berlin tonight
the search for the heart of darkness
I see the horizon for the first time in weeks.

in old patapsco today
i saw an elk on the ridge
vision from forgotten
daze..................

forgoten daze
living in a cave with four white walls
Feng Shui is no joke
I hung a picture of a sailing ship
Something to catch my gaze

Train horn
worries me
when I start not to notice them
like sleeping through
a temple bell calling
focus fuzzy
no solitude
there has be some advantage to being single
wireman I got to go
got to hit the road for even a day
Port Lavaca a two hour ride.

I know she will want to go
Got to take the bear too

perseid like miracles
surrounding us.
need to be reminded sometimes
to look.
ever grateful to have people in my life
to remind me
where, how and when.
