The Ministry of Love

Post by ~K » March 25th, 2007, 5:13 pm

anyone can tell you
it's hard to wait for
what never offers

I've been here
now
for so long

the circle
speaks
in riddles

I could have sworn
I solved
last time around

but here you are
translating nonsense
into vital information

who am I
to argue
who am I

other than
this coward
that kneels before you

the truth that binds my wounds
cuts off my tongue
& keeps my chains close to the surface

where we are
we are as free
as we pretend to be

Waiting for the train that’s never coming
Then you’re going nowhere faster than
The rabbit who lost the race

Life has to be this way or that or I won’t be happy is
A good way to sucker punch yourself in circles if left unsolved
Keep you spinning for answers when solved immediately spit out a new riddle to
Solve and spin and down the drain again

Your last stanza always sound like a solution to a riddle suggested in the first
If all the world were a stage maybe the next riddle is what character are you willing to play?

Sorry this wasn’t a poem response
I know you like to jam

life here
laughs when
we cannot
lift our eyes
above
the sky that's
filled with all
our disappointments
star logged
streched across
a
sweet abyss
we list
our sorrows

4 noone
but ourselves

or something like that
song that haunts
your steps

a dance of
pure regret

the chance
you failed

to ressuerect
when you
were still

able
to
do

anything

remember that

so clever
the way
her words
would
string
the noose
along

it fit like

nothing
she ever mentioned
waltzing
with the shades
of nightmares

so many
fresh &
wanting

more than ive got
more & cascades
storming moments
never conquered
waiting still
where I fall

to the heights it'll take ya
then leave ya a block of ice.........L-O-V-E that is......
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

I am at least
this mess blurring
your preconceptions
history is telling
the futures secrets

So true
but
how relevant is the truth
to sexual desire?

Desire is the individual’s truth
Ask any hate spitting preacher
And his male prostitute
Love is blind?
Lower forms of love are blind
They may lie
With dead dogs
To express the truth of desire
Difficult to deny the blood whether
Racing to satiation or
Spilling from denials wounds
Justice is also blind
So to is
Truth
Relatively relevant to time and blood
Spilling or racing
Time is relative to desire and the truth is in the NOW
NOW?
I’m not sure how a national women’s organization got into this but it’s here NOW so it stays.

Can’t say there is any truth in the above ‘cause “Time keeps on slippin’ slippin’…into the future” but I’ll post for Ted and his ministry NOW!

well i found my true love
after many moons (no pun intended)
and it has been good
in friendship after the honeymoon was over
yet the spark remains ready to ignite
with the flick of a finger
but i agree that unrequited love spawns
the most furious forms of eloquence
and loves lost are the stuff of songs

i am with abstroint
we need some sanity into the equation
pride and respect

lets hope some women with balls get political power
and feminize this country
thereby making the men all stronger
by default

Love may be blind but

The eyes go reconnoitering for what is pleasing to the heart to possess

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_ ... he_Goddess

You know what cyndy everyone seems so pissed off here lately

NO place for me to be I think.

Or maybe it is me who is pissing everybody off.

Listen you talk to the queer preachers for me, I want no truck with preachers straight or gay.

That train left the station for me Cyndi
It is never coming back
But I still check the trees every day

A hopeless romantic until the end.

I was thinking about this bit from another GO.

I don't know what train you are waiting for ~k
it is all poetry to me

but I know cynthia is right
happiness is not something to wait for.

It is right here with every breath we take.

I sometimes remember that
when I am not swamped with self pity.
I just like that bit about the truth a lot
sometimes you remind me of mnaz
