dressed up for dinner!

[Whitebird Sings]

when i woke this morning,
before i opened my eyes
i said this prayer aloud
"god please give us a good day"
and the one who sleeps with his arms around me said,
"amen!"

it's now 10:30 am
and i am anticipating
that this day will be so good
that we will need to celebrate.
better get dressed up for dinner!
