Nice work artguy. I like your compostion. Thats a pretty big plywood panel how thick is it and what kind of plywood do you use? How do you prep it before painting?

Hi Garry, thanks. the plywood I have been using lately is 1/4" thick mahogany. I rarely ever treat, takes away from what the material is as the primer fills in the grain. As far as permanence goes. I have pieces over 20 years old that show no signs of age. I quite often use 3/4" plywood when I use my router on the piece. I have a web site that shows a number of those pieces. They are quite large.

this is really inspiring

today a patient of mine
doodles on paper with colored ballpoint pens
and poetry written for herself in the cancer center

found out she likes bobby bluebland
a blues woman

what studio eight has done for me
to validate all the primitive artists
and spontaneous bebop poets

this one is beyond the merely primitive
more like primal
i'm getting a contact high!

i might print this one out
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om
