dharma would say something here
but however you ohm it
suffering is not what we're after
before we suffer
we prefer to have a lot of fun
enjoyment and its colleagues
all the good stuff
yeah
pull out the rich sublime contentment card
deal us all a deck
enjoy our hands
keep that blissful thing highly tuned
right on track
give us more of that

driftwood
~~~~~~~~~
never enuff bliss
or good times
they get contagious
even w/the low blows
that topple into the
fray,
constant movement
rattle-rattle, to keep 'em
@ bay....All Aboard!!!!!!
the lovin' life train
fertily
fervently
forever
movin' in the now
kapow!!!!
shaka-lacka
do-wacka-dew
which we inevitably
undubitably doobie doobie dew.......
all comes down to jam
alive...alive....ohhhhhhhhh!!!
h2o
e=mc2 on the side of
a building in san francisco
hip einie smilin' somewhere
water of love
dual fishes
i be swimmin'
down rapids
never up waterfalls
lookin' for the swell
the waves
the purple haze
of course the
ungraspable
unclaspable
uncontrollable
what's under the rainbow
in the riverbed
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
I'll just swing in on
an electric line
a single photon for a spine
I'd go to the river
but there's no one to meet
I'll just end up
eating my feet
or watching birds what pretend
they are phone calls
from someone off the deep end
O Marie Antoinette had a pretty pink jet
do ya think she'll give me a ride?
I'll be in the alley
taking book on the side
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
sweet marie & sneaky sally
in the alley, in the
hood, they call it
"the hole"
where the deals go down
right outside my welding shop
me sticking to my side
i don't miss it now that
it's gone, for 5 years an
uneasy truce reigned
and i learned that life
in the bowels is neither
cut and dry or all that
simple, i wrote some of
my best stuff in that place
where the river ran yellow
and smelled like ammonia
Image
house in baltimore where i lived for 5 years (2002-07), call it "sowebo"
Heard a song tonight
an old song
that reminded me of a woman
I love ol' songs that remind me of a woman
movin' on ...
I, too, love an old truck Wireman. Once I wrote a poem about one, it's a good looking truck, to somebody.
o the trucks i've had
74' dodge van back in the 70's
a nisszn/datsun in the 80's and 90's
also a black chevy luv that my wife
banged around in...literally
then in 2001 i got a tundra
drove it up till a couple a years
ago and finally now i've surrendered
to the 50 mpg efficiency of an old
honda civic....contemplating another van
as i write...when economy picks up for sure.....
