Word of the day: Dork

Post by stilltrucking » September 24th, 2009, 5:03 am

1. The blue whale's dork is the world's largest sexual organ.

2. Dork: Wow, that light bulb that's flickering in a seemingly random fashion is actually occurring as such due to a capacitance built up on one side of the tungsten filament until it discharges sending electrical flow through the tungsten, causing photonic emission through heated excitation, which then dissipates as you get farther from the light bulb according to inverse square law.
Girlfriend who is also a dork: You're right, you dork. Shut up and kiss me. You're so cute

I know I'm just a dumb girl, what do I know about comedy. But, hey trucker' I recommend loveline, you'll laugh about it later. Maybe a new game show to check into if you're up to it.

Ah shucks
you could have fooled me.
I thought you were "a woman of dangerous intelligence" as Freud said of Lou Salome after she turned him down for Rilke.
And Nietzsche wept for her too.

I never realized Kafka had a sense of humor. He thought he was very funny and could not understand why none of his friends laughed at his stories.

I am not up to it. I am pretty sure.
A few years ago a nurse checked my blood pressure. She grabbed my arm and held it against her body from her chest to her crotch. I felt no blood stirring down below. But my arm was stiff for a week.

They say all men are latent homosexuals. Maybe so. But some of us have a choice. Women are so much more interesting than men. So dangerous.

Freud howling at the moon outside Lou Salome's bedroom window.
But she went for the poet
Rilke.
Freud asked what do women want
Ha. Not him.

My trucking days are over
so it goes with fucking too
But that is okay. I have an orgasm everytime I sneeze. I have some great colds.

After she shot him down too.

It always made me smile to see Silent Woman's side long glances at my erection. Calculating some female sexual trigonometry of the angle of the dangle of the appendage perpendicular to the man.

I am burning my bridges behind me so those who come after me never have to walk this road.

I build bridges because I refuse
to walk on someone elses
due to my ego
due to confidence
not yet born but forced that I'm capable
I believe in my own
even if it's a failure
my failures only mean a lesson
I could learn if I attempt

But, that said
I still require all materials
to build with.
I'm not better for taking on the task
because than I use to be able
I've used by way of knowledge
something I don't have
I take knowledge

I build because I can't accept
being fictitious
nor to be anything but individual
though how original am I
when I use to begin it

I won't walk their roads
because I fit only on my own
built by my hands from their scraps

it's pointless but I do it
a damn circle

"there is only one way, your way" glorious amucks tagline from kerouac.

I was born to follow.

"the unmediated man" not by a long shot

I am not the rugged individualist I thought I was

no matter what john wayne says.

the holy grail is
"to live a life of one's own" joseph campbell quoting somebody?

keep on keeping on sadluckdame
