Nope... it's right here! :)

(but yeah I guess I did whisk it away ... down the page... 'cause otherwise, we could jam all through the year!)

Do you think I should reopen it and jam the whole first week of 2010?

I'll just unlock it and ask everyone's opinion....

What do you all think?

Want to jam on through the first week of the year?

Mark, if you want it to go on for more than a week, you can be the one to let me know when it's over, OK? I saw no posts for hours yesterday and thought it was over since people stopped posting because it was announced to be over yesterday. So, I really thought it ended on its own accord but I put opened it back up since that's what people wanted.

Just let me know when you guys want to close it. Contact me by email or private message when you think it has run its course.

Thank you!

Arcadia wrote
flowing towards Vela
noisy colorful caravan
(ten always more impatient than nine!)
in these days full of steps
we light some seventies diapositivas
guessing about the order
just to kill time
a ziggurat?
the Ganges waters?
the Tula atlantes?
an spaghettis´s dish?
the pyramids?
& season once more
tender-mysterious chronos-kairos dance
with a cheer, a go and our little bag of plural I
still thanking, breathing, wondering...

in the beginning it was the word
and the word was
jam
slam
bam
thank ya ma'm
hobo poet on the lamb
across the sand
my land is yr land
when we land
on our hands
all hands on deck
don't fucking wreck
what the heck
lookin for end
when the end
never ends
but sends
shivers up and down
all around
the sound
is jam
bam bam

New Years Jam 2010

Post by Steve Plonk » January 2nd, 2010, 1:27 pm

Howdy, howdy from the high and holy highway,
'Tis I, Steve Plonk, who am wishing everyone
A good day after the tie-one-on and
Many happy returns...
The turkey is in the oven and we
Are ready to roast 'em...
Yesterday we had turkey-ham, greasy greens, &
Black eyes & corn bread for our traditional New Years dinner.

My senses are on overload and we are getting ready
To watch the movie "Stardust" after having seen the
Newest "Star Trek" movie last year...
Snow is flurrying and we are having a rollicking good time,
Inside where it is warm...we got a light dusting of snow
Last night--the first snow of the New Year...Always merry &
Bright---onwarddddd!

let go and let 2010
be the best yet
for jammin without guilt
as seeing is to seen, being is to been, hearing is to heard
breathing rhymes and poking fun
until we all are one in jamming when th saints go
marching on one word at a time
forget about the rhyme nor reason
it's out to lunch
just go ahead and confirm th hunch
i don know nada got ta break this spell and
watch a candle and sit up straight.
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om

New Years Jam

Post by Steve Plonk » January 2nd, 2010, 8:17 pm

New Years Jambalaya,
Keep on chooglin' before the
Creek freeze higher,
The bumblebees are all hibernating,
Bears are snoozing the big snooze,
Wish sometimes we could hibernate,
To chase away the winter blues...

But with that cider in me, I keep
The old blood flowing,
Roosters are still crowing,
The polar bear club goes dipping,
While ravers on mescaline are tripping...
Things take on a life of their own,
When you get on a worldwide phone...
On the speaker mode,
Apple pie with a la mode,
Wear the tobaggon knit hats of winter,
As we go deeper even in de hinter...

Last song I wrote in 2009. Recorded first day of 2010

River of Souls

sorry about the noise
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The Poet's Eye

If a dead bird falls at your feet,
Should it be taken as omen, or as meat?

If a live bird lands on your arm,
Should you smile, or do it harm?

If a flock of birds fly into your mouth,
Should you chew, or spit them outh?

If no bird lands anywhere at all,
Are they air-born, or did they all fall?

But, if some odd birds come here doing jams,
Are they witty, or simply being hams?
