New Years Jam

Post by Steve Plonk » January 4th, 2010, 10:01 am

May Carole Jean find rest
Sorry for your loss,
Some of us live on
Our grief pays the cost--
Think of her, remember
Fresh days in September
As life continues a glowing ember--
Memory brings things back new
My wish for all of you...
May life's jam continue...

ever consider
the proposition hither
for Orthodoxy -
Chabad-Lubavitcher-Frum...
and the like
what Glatt Kosher brings
to the table
for Sol, Chaim, Sadie, & Mabela?
there's bris-ket, lox (separate, of course)
fleishick & such...
yet what puzzles my kep
is the puzzling misstep
how HAM-burgers'
entered the room!?

I had a shrine on my artlog for cj
but I took it down
I just wanted to have a bunch of her art in one place so I could look at when ever I needed religion.
But then I thought it was presumptuous of me to post her art without permission...

Not sick of the banner yet
not yet
five days into the new year
and everything still looks the same as last year.

Shakespeare is still hip in 2010
What ever else we do
we gotta stay hip
hipsters "walking an earth that is disappearing under our feet"
2010 the year I heard jazz for the first time
jam on
jam on
it don't mean nothing
it just means everything

In this new decade,
I sure hope these banners
will change more quickly.

I know, I know!
It's 2010, already!
Good grief.

Can't we just get
on with it?

and america Über Alles
hurry hurry

I am a real live nephew of uncle sam
this world will keep on turning
proud mary will keep on jamming
