Titicaca´s flowers

Post by Arcadia »

The sound of the name of the lake is titijaja in aymara (titihaha for you), still sounds funny!

in January there it was rains-season, so plenty of flowers everywhere!!

1- flower growing in the middle of the floating islands, no idea about the name
2- ortiga´s flower (I had other shots more in focus but this one looked like the ortiga feeling in my hands when wandering in my grandmother´s back garden when I was a child!)
3- Cantuta flower (national flower for Peru and I guess Bolivia too)
4- Wonderful retamas!! (one of my favourite-favourite flowers!)

Enjoy! :D

I love flowers!
In the yellow flowers, it's like you kissed the sky. Beautiful!

little mischievous darling!
