unto a women

Post by sonofthesun » May 1st, 2010, 1:37 am

i do wander
but i stay close to home
i know where my love lines lay
but i dont always know how
to make them shine
its a give and take
experience
and i hope i am getting better at it
so i sit and think
i know i am not alone
just not connected
in the old fashioned sense
we do these things without a guide
the future is our present
we exist upon the edge
of this eternal golden dawn
a family of vagabonds
united in love
trancend
this truth
this hope
it is upon us
as its always been
as it shall always be
worry not
for the wicked shall become meek
for the meek shall know god
life shall own itself
all must know
the dream becomes reality
reality gives way to the dream
There is no empty space

Love this
vagabond soul, and happiness
intertwined
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

most lines are just dross or chaff, something to fill the space but not illuminate it, while some just get it, i love it when the shit just works, a connect

I knew a deadhead named Quinn, Quinn the Eskimo. He was an Eskimo from Virginia, if you fathom that.

Boss poem, dude. It connects.

Peace,
Barry

dead head counselor

i knew a guy that had ten years clean and he loved the grateful dead- it seemed more like a hog farm in the 70 s thing to me-i wonder sometimes what exactly is the facination.... i guess when youre blazing and the dead pull up you see things, heh heh differently- geodesic domes, and food co-ops----naked kids, pet rats, all the hippies and the indians made good friends... and well the rest is history...
