Truth

The light began to break with the suns early rays over the ocean, 11 years on the mainland!
The beauty penetrated her skin, loosely draped in a sheet and tropical humidity she finally was slowing down, getting back to the Ina, aloha spirit. Ten pairs of sunglasses sat on the trucks dashboard- sunlight on water is intense-
the truck she got apples in the fall for the buffalo with the apples rolling around in the back, the buffalo would run along side...that 1895 farmhouse, sun dancing, Portland state, the wicked witch of the west and the last man she loved deeply.that was a disaster ---
enlightening, and deadly.she came back to her island broken.
Her children grew up here. All those children grew up, and she found herself an old woman reflecting on all the great love she had experienced-
all those natural beautful moments, all those intense motions - virtous ideals and dreams live on- like an oil painting in progress-- she smiled- her wrinled skin had the sands of time and the skin of her people-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Eminently, immanently beautiful, as if Pele came down to be a woman, a mother, a wife, a sister, a lover, her fine stone-spun hair draped upon a pillow of eternity forever, the sea crashing round, turning fresh-made land to sand, to become in the end, the seafloor.

Peace,
Barry

the Godess of Hawaii.the stories of how he would become an old woman to test a living man or womans kindness-if they were not the lava flow would come- beautiful stories....always a lesson in a story- if you are a good listeniner, my elder was an excellant storyteller-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
