How long does it take you to paint a painting, Kurt?

sometimes an hour sometimes weeks.....this one about an hour

Kurt, I see some sumi-e brush work effects in this one. That quick swipe of the black ink (or paint) signifying the search? Well, like any good painting, there is a myriad of interpretations, I am sure. judih is right, lots of energy!!!

Hi Sooze...so nice to see you out and about...I have been using a rather large calligraphy brush and Japanese ink lately...lotta fun.

A medium I myself have used (although my brushes are probably smaller) but I do use the solid ink block and bamboo brushes, a bow to the tradition but not necessary by any means. I likee Kurt!

Nice to "see" you as well my friend and see what's cooking. :wink:
